In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that “discussions and final points have been, in both concept and great detail, approved by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others,” adding that “the Naval Blockade will remain in full force and effect until” a deal “is finalized.”

Iran and Israel both denied the existence of any agreement, according to early reporting after Trump’s post was published.

The cancelled strikes come after two consecutive nights of U.S. bombing operations against Iran, which began after the U.S. accused Iran Tuesday of downing an Apache helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz.
