The Kyle Anzalone Show: Why Are Progressives Winning Elections?

A progressive primary upset turns into something much bigger when you follow the money and the message. We’re rolling solo and starting with what last night’s results suggest about where U.S. politics is heading: foreign policy is no longer a side issue. When wars drag on, when Israel and Iran dominate headlines, and when voters feel the cost through inflation and gas prices, they vote accordingly. I also unpack why the “jihadist” and “communist” scare talk misses the actual story, and how race-first politics on both fringes poisons any real populist reform.

Then we pivot to a story that should be front-page news for anyone who flies. A Wired report points to GPS jamming tests near White Sands Missile Range and how interference can spill hundreds of miles beyond a test site. When multiple aircraft lose GPS at once, pilots and controllers get forced into backup modes under pressure. We talk through the reporting around a civilian medical flight that crashed into a mountain at night after GPS disruption, and why this raises urgent questions about military tech, FAA readiness, and public accountability.

From there, we head to the Middle East for a fast-moving update: tanker incidents, reported Iran Oman talks over Strait of Hormuz routing and tolls, and the broader negotiating game between Tehran and Washington. I play a Trump clip on the 2015 Obama Iran nuclear deal and explain why undoing that framework makes any future settlement messier and more dangerous. We close with Gaza, separating talk of Hamas disarmament from the on-the-ground reality of continued territorial control and stated Israeli policy.

If you want clear, detailed analysis without the spin, subscribe, share the show, and leave a review so more people can find it.
