From Friday’s Sixth Circuit decision in U.S. v. Farris, by Judges Eric Clay, Julia Gibbons, and Whitney Hermandorfer: Howe [a court-appointed criminal defense lawyer appealing a drug trafficking sentence] filed two briefs—a principal brief and a reply—on behalf of Farris. Upon our initial review of the case, we began to suspect that Howe’s briefs were generated, at least in part, by artificial-intelligence software. The first tell was the file name of the principal brief: “CoCounsel Skill Results.” CoCounsel is the name of Westlaw’s internal artificial-intelligence platform. From our vantage point, that file-name abnormality suggested that Howe’s brief might have derived…
Date of sighting: March 25, 2026 8PMLocation of sighting: Wilmer, Alabama, USASource: NUFORCHey all, check out this UFO report just in. A persons animal cam in the back yard captured an orb that was studying the two deer in the photo. The orb is seen moving its position from left to right and changing its luminousness. I have been preaching about how infrared cameras can capture cloaked UFOs for over 15 years and current researchers have followed my lead. Even US government states the videos released caught it because of the camera recording in infrared. Now an orb is caught…
This week’s Sunday Funnies was inspired by an article I wrote earlier this week, commenting on the crew of Artemis II experiencing the so-called ‘Overview effect’. Whereas some people will see Earth as an oasis to be preserved and shared, others will see it as a resort to be exploited for the benefit of a few lucky ones. The post Sunday Funnies: The Over-Pay-Per-View Effect appeared first on The Daily Grail. Source link
UVA I would like to take this opportunity to announce that I will be a Visiting Professor at University of Virginia School of Law during the Fall 2026 semester. It is an honor to be invited to visit at one of the nation’s very top law schools. I know some UVA faculty already, and look forward to meeting more faculty and students while there. During that semester, I will continue to be an employee of the mighty Commonwealth of Virginia (both UVA and my permanent home, George Mason University, are Virginia state universities). I will also continue my work…
Iran is not some fragile backwater that will crumble under the weight of American bombs. It is a civilization state with thousands of years of continuous existence, a population of ninety million people, and a geography of mountains, deserts, and underground fortifications specifically designed to resist foreign subjugation. The notion that air power alone can decapitate its leadership, destroy its infrastructure, and produce regime change represents a fantasy that scholars have debunked repeatedly over the past century. Yet here we are, over a month into Operation Epic Fury, watching Washington learn these lessons the hard way. As of early April…
It’s time for spring cleaning — is it also time for a detox? The idea of starting fresh and clearing toxins and gunk from our bodies sounds good. And if you’re in the mood for a change, a profitable marketplace welcomes you. Detox teas. Detox foot pads. Detox diets. Juice cleanses. Colon flushes. Supplements to remove toxins from the body, reset gut health, or “flush” out certain organs like the colon, liver, or kidneys. A multitude of products offer to get your insides squeaky clean. But here’s the thing: Most people don’t need outside products to “detoxify” their bodies. That’s because…
In reviewing the Supreme Court oral argument in Trump v. Barbara, in which the justices considered the lawfulness of President Trump’s anti-birthright-citizenship Executive Order, I was struck by an exchange in which a fairly obvious question seemed to catch the SG off guard. Justice Kavanaugh asked the Solicitor General about the extent to which Congress might have authority to modify the contours of birthright citizenship, and the SG’s response suggested he had never pondered this question before. Here is the transcript of exchange: JUSTICE KAVANAUGH: Of what relevance, if any, do you think Section 5 of the Fourteenth Amendment has here…
Date of sighting: March 30, 2026 9pmLocation of sighting: Nashville, Tennessee, USASource: Email report scwaring @yahoo.comThis report just in. An eyewitness was driving home and recorded this UFO coming down from the sky. The UFO actually hesitated in the sky for a split second and then continued on its way, be it began to curve and fly away from the eyewitness car. Meteors don’t change direction, but this object did. There is no doubt about this object. It’s 100% alien technology.Scott C. Waring – UFO Sightings Daily Eyewitness states: I was driving home from work and saw this strange thing I…
The chances are that when most of us think of bloodlust or a desire for blood, particularly human blood, we might think about deranged serial killers with uncontrollable urges. However, in the world of the paranormal, whether it is strange, otherworldly entities, UFOs and aliens, or indeed people who assert their belief that they are, for all intents and purposes, vampires, we find this urge for blood more than many of might like to imagine. Moreover, much of this apparent bloodlust has connections to ultra-secret societies that seemingly operate hidden in plain sight, with members of these cults seemingly coming…
We are getting subjected to more and more toxicity, driving disease and humanitarian suffering to unprecedented levels. Big Government, instead of protecting us, are having a hand in making things worse. In retrospect of this, consider, the rising cancer rates. For instance, there are very concerning reports indicating higher abnormally aggressive colorectal cancer rates in young people… In spite of advances in healthcare technology, Big Pharma’s influence on regulatory processes is a major hinderance, favoring extremely profitable drug treatment models over more effective alternative approaches to cancer. It has been known that throughout history a number of brilliant innovative pioneers…
