Photo by Katja Ano The Machine is virtually impossible to resist, not least because it is found both around us and within us. –Paul Kingsnorth,  Against the Machine: On the Unmaking of Humanity ….my belief in the profanity of technology is not widely shared.  While there are many astute critics of the Machine…it appears that many spiritual leaders and thinkers are as swept up in the Machine’s propaganda system as anyone else.  They have bought into the Myth of Neutral Technology, a subset of the Myth of Progress. –Ibid To literalize the Great Mother as material wealth…To reduce to the level of material…

Thomas Massie isn’t acting like a defeated man. After losing the most expensive primary race in American history last month, largely thanks to pro-Israel figures and groups spending millions to defeat him (according to the Federal Election Commission, Massie received donations from 1,119 individuals actually living in Kentucky, compared to only 98 for his opponent Ed Gallrein), Massie announced just days later, “I filed with FEC for the 2028 House race.” He explained, “This allows me to raise funds to continue my political operations supporting my position as a current office holder and as a potential candidate for federal office.”…

Date of sighting: June 1, 2026Location of sighting: Haverhill, Massachusetts, USASource: NUFORC websiteA person and his friend were fishing in the Great Lakes and saw this glowing red sphere coming over the edge of the mountain top causing them to have a total mental meltdown. UFOs are known for frequently being seen over and around the Great Lakes, and this is more evidence of such an event. Also compounded by the eyewitness description of a haze around the object, which Bob Lazar of Area S4 said is caused by the propulsion system of alien craft. Scott C. Waring – UFO Sightings Daily Eyewitness…

British satirist Jonathan Swift offered his infamous modest proposal to deal with an 18th century food crisis: “I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed, is, at a year old, a most delicious nourishing and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked or boiled.” He obviously wasn’t serious about having poor Irish parents sell their children for food, but Swift effectively spotlighted the hypocrisy of the upper classes. Likewise, my modest idea isn’t really serious, but it would highlight the inconsistent views of California conservatives who champion “local control” to oppose state…

Image by Ash Hayes. It all started with a call to my family in a displacement camp in northern Gaza. Since internet lines rarely stay connected, I managed to send a message to the widow of my cousin—who was killed along with all of his sons during the ongoing Gaza genocide. I asked her a simple question: what do Gazans want? My purpose was to gather raw testimonies from her neighbors to weave into a letter to a European official whose country is active in pursuing justice for Palestinians. I chose this approach to bypass clichéd political discourse and avoid…

Funding the immigration crackdown: Early this morning, the Senate passed a $70 billion immigration enforcement bill at the behest of Republicans and the White House. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R–Alaska) was the only Republican to join the Democrats and oppose the bill’s passage. “Passage came only after Republican leaders quelled an internal revolt that had been simmering for weeks over recent moves by Mr. Trump that have underscored how his personal agenda is diverging sharply from his party’s political interests,” reports The New York Times. “The divisions threatened to sink the measure and prompted several G.O.P. defections on bipartisan efforts to modify it, all…

Date of discovery: June 5, 2026Location of discovery: Mars Sol 327 CuriosityNow I found this interesting NASA photo just yesterday. Sure it was taken back in Jan 1, 2000 but its quality and ancient artifacts are much more authentic and detailed than today’s 2026 photos which look air brushed out. Why do I look for faces? Because there is no other evidence of intelligent alien life than a face carving, which is seen in all human cultures around the world. The face I found above looks similar to the native Indian tribes that are found on Earth. It has a pronounced chin, darker lips,…

A growing consortium of University of California (U.C.) educators is imploring the state system to consider basic testing standards for STEM applicants. As of Thursday, more than 1,400 U.C. faculty members have signed onto a letter calling for the reinstatement of the SAT/ACT mathematics requirement for STEM majors, citing a dramatic drop in math proficiency.  The letter, written by four U.C. Berkeley math professors and a law professor, claims that U.C. STEM professors now “observe preparation gaps so severe that instructors must reteach middle-school mathematics while simultaneously teaching the material students need for sciences, engineering, economics, and other quantitatively demanding…

Looking into deep time allows us to view our current mode of existence from a broader perspective and to discern patterns of change that may offer insights into our…
