The highest award in all of journalism is being accused of antisemitism by the Israeli government for factual reporting. Reading by Tim Foley: ❖ The Israeli government is currently accusing The New York Times of antisemitic blood libel for publishing a report on Israel’s already well-documented systemic rape of Palestinian prisoners. Contrary to popular belief, the highest award in journalism is not the Pulitzer. The highest award in all of journalism is being accused of antisemitism by the Israeli government for factual reporting. But the New York Times is unworthy of this award. The Times has been running cover for the Gaza holocaust from the very…

The Post culled the data from hundreds of internal ICE emails,…
Portuguese presence in the Persian Gulf (1507–1750). Image Source: Verride – CC BY-SA 4.0 The strategic and spiritual resonance of the Strait of Hormuz is deeply woven into Iran’s identity. It represents a profound geographic constant in Iranian history. This narrow waterway has served as a central artery for Persian political and economic power, historical consciousness and culture across millennia. Whether safeguarding Zoroastrian trade routes under the Sassanids, expelling European powers in the Safavid era, or commanding energy routes today, Iran’s geopolitical identity is fused with this narrow stretch of water. It is a physical manifestation of sovereignty, insuring that…
Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan was sworn in at the White House in 1987, and every chairman since has held the ceremony at the Federal Reserve Building. The move highlighted the agency’s independence from the executive branch, which has grown more testy during the second Trump administration. On Friday, new Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh returned the ceremony to the East Room. “I intend to fill the role of chairman with energy and purpose, just the way Chairman Greenspan did, faithful to the mission and the very best conditions of the Fed,” Warsh said after taking the oath of…
