The invisible forest is made up
Of trees (of beeches/books
Made up of leaves
Turning
Invisibly, this forest
Through which we walk
Determining our path,
The tree trunks – the caudex –
The codes
Determine the widths
Of the streets, the roads
The materials that constitute
The sidewalks
Of our constitutionals
The composition of the air
We struggle to breathe
Because of these
