The Kyle Anzalone Show: DESTROYING The Washington Post’s War Propaganda

A US aircraft carrier packed with 5,000 sailors is not supposed to become a story about empty shelves, broken plumbing, and desperate messages to families. We start there because the USS Abraham Lincoln reports don’t just raise moral alarms, they raise a strategic one: if extended deployments are pushing crews to the edge, what does that say about America’s ability to sustain a long pressure campaign and naval blockade tied to the US-Iran war and the Strait of Hormuz?

From that human reality, we widen the lens to the region’s shifting center of gravity. We dig into the Mecca Agreement and what a Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan defense alignment could mean for the future of Middle East security, especially as countries weigh whether Washington is a reliable partner when air defenses, munitions, and political priorities all feel strained. We also examine claims that Iran is rapidly rebuilding missile and drone capacity after the 2026 war, and why production rates matter more than narratives when offensive weapons can outpace defensive interceptors.

Then I dismantle the Washington Post editorial argument for “containment” and more credible escalation. We walk through what containment has looked like for decades, how it can lead directly to war, and why ideas like a “more sustainable” blockade collide with fleet readiness, oil market fragility, and the limits of sanctions enforcement. If Iran gets a say on the battlefield and at the negotiating table, pretending otherwise is not strategy, it’s denial.
